Are ADD ADHD's Capable Of Telling The Difference Between Fantasy And Reality?
Yes...
ADD ADHD sufferers may suffer a great deal of mental illness-like symptoms, but they are capable of differentiating between reality and fantasy.
An ADD ADHD sufferer is prone to day dreaming, and heightened creativity, including quite the active imagination.
This does not mean, however, that they are unable to tell the difference between what they have dreamed up, and what is actually real.
Parents should note that their Attention deficit disorder child may “play” that what they have imagined is real - they may even have a relationship with an imaginary friend - but their ability to know what is imaginary will develop at the same rate as a non-ADD ADHD child.
